Ok so, today was my first ‘proper’ day off work and I had my first lay in this morning in what seems to be months!!!

I still managed to squeeze a bit of cloud into my day albeit from a pure fun perspective! After a leisurely morning and pancakes for breakfast we settled in for a family Christmas movie and opted for the ‘Christmas Carol’ remake from 2009 with a few cheeky lunch time ciders! From there the kids split off for a few games and left me with a bit of free time…… after directing my son how to print off the Robot Arm pieces on the 3D printer via a Discord share! (I think I have about 9 of the 20 components printed now!!) I settled down for a few more chapters of my Docker book!

I then thought I would spend a bit of time participating in the awesome content that had been arranged via the #festivetechcalendar www.festivetechcalendar.com and watched the Patch and Switch show before breaking away and joining in with Shabaz Darr‘s Festive Quiz with a few of the other community folk! I did appallingly!!! But still great fun to join in and say hello!

From there, I managed to sneak back onto the Patch and Switch show to join them in the random act of streaming and play a bit of Among Us!! I was never the Impostor and I got killed every time!

Check out the content from the #festivetechcalendar event as it is simply brilliant! Such a diverse mix of content, the website will leave you spoilt for choice and we are only just half way through the event!
