Great to receive the email today confirming that I had made it to an ‘Azure Champ’ as part of my studies with Azure and specifically passing the AZ-204 exam yesterday! I guess they will update the site in due course, either way, I am really pleased to be recognised in this way. Also, I have not heard many people talking about this site so I thought I would let my network know about it as I am sure I know a lot of people that this could apply to!

The Microsoft Association of Practicing Architects (www.the-mapa.com) is a Microsoft run micro-site aimed at grouping and allowing networking opportunities for like minded Azure Architects. It also offers areas for Dynamics practitioners as well!

The site offers lots of resources and events as well as a glossary of practicing Azure Architects, of which I am greatly honoured to now be part of!

MAPA brings you a unique opportunity to get trained and certified in Azure and get recognized as an Azure Champ.
Start on this path by referring to Prep Guidance and make progress towards becoming Azure Champs . !!! *

MAPA Azure Champs Program comprises of clearing following exams:

• AZ-204: Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure
• AZ-300: Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies
• AZ-301: Microsoft Azure Architect Design
• AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator

It helps to have an Azure subscription as you prepare for the exam. Sign up for a free one-month trial here in case you need one.

Here’s how you participate in the program:

Stage 1

– Decide on an exam you plan to take first.

Stage 2

– Enter Transcript ID and Access code for the exam you cleared in Stage 1- Decide on the exam you plan to take next

Stage 3

– Enter Transcript ID and Access code for the exam you cleared in Stage 2- Decide on the exam you plan to take next

Stage 4

– Enter Transcript ID and Access code for the exam you cleared in Stage 3- Decide on the exam you plan to take next

Stage 5

– Enter Transcript ID and Access code for the exam you cleared in Stage 4- Choose to get listed on the MAPA Azure Champs page- Upon verification of your transcripts, you would have reached the goal of becoming a MAPA Azure Champ

Fast Forward:

It is possible you have already passed one or more of the listed/required certification exams.
In that case, we can fast forward you through the program.- In the Fast Forward Tab, select the exams you’ve cleared so far and enter the Transcript ID and Access code for each of them- Decide on the exam you plan to take next- In case you have cleared all exams, choose to get listed on the MAPA Azure Champs page- Upon verification of your transcripts, you would be moved to the appropriate stage in the program
