What does ChatGPT really think of Microsoft Azure?

Hey all, long time since my last post, so I thought Id drop one over on the awesome subject of the awesome OpenAI and in particular ChatGPT.

If you haven’t heard the recent announcements of ChatGPT and the recent investments from Microsoft and OpenAI then take a look at the services offered across Azure here. Or go and have a play here.

I was sat on an all hands call at work where we were discussing the amazing application of such a technology, so I thought I would ask ChatGPT what it thought the benefits of Azure were. The results might surprise you!

This is the genuine response I had from ChatGPT.

It’s important to note that as a language model AI, I don’t have personal bias or preference, but I can provide you with the advantages of Azure over AWS based on its features and capabilities.

Azure, developed by Microsoft, is known for its strong integration with other Microsoft products and services, such as Windows Server and Active Directory. This makes it an ideal choice for organizations that already have a significant investment in Microsoft technology. Additionally, Azure offers a wide range of services for machine learning and artificial intelligence, which can be very useful for organizations that are looking to leverage these technologies.

Azure has a strong focus on hybrid cloud solutions, which allows organizations to easily connect their on-premises infrastructure with the cloud. This can be very useful for organizations that have sensitive data that cannot be moved to the cloud or that need to maintain control over certain aspects of their infrastructure.

Azure also offers a comprehensive set of services for data management, including Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Data Lake Storage. These services are built to handle big data and analytics workloads, which can be very useful for organizations that need to process large amounts of data.

In addition, Azure offers a wide range of services for Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, which can be very useful for organizations that are looking to leverage IoT technology.

Lastly, Azure offers a wide range of compliance certifications and has a strong focus on security. This can be very beneficial for organizations that have strict compliance and security requirements.
It’s important to keep in mind that these are just some of the advantages of Azure over AWS, and each organization’s specific needs and requirements should be taken into consideration when making a decision.

So there you have it, what questions would you ask ChatGPT?
