Day[88/100] #100DaysOfCloud – Jonnychipz – Azureish Live – Santa’s Digitally Transforming!

Ok so I couldn’t let this pass without including it in my 100DaysofCloud Challenge.

As part of the superb Festive Tech Calendar (www.festivetechcalendar.com) community event running throughout December 2020, the guys over at AzureishLive set out to help Santa digitise his operations with the help of Azure Cognitive Services as well as a bit a C# and Blazor WebAssembly.

On Saturday evening I settled in with a glass of my finest to catch up with what they had developed and how they walked us through the creation of such a fun but meaningful demo of how Santa could utilise the Computer Vision API’s to submit all his handwritten letters from all the kids around the globe, and with a bit of clever client side UI coding, have them displayed as a searchable list of things that he would need to deliver!

I wont go into all the detail here, but suffice to say, it was a cracking couple of hours and well worth a watch, even though at one point Liam in fact fails to Jingle his Bells! Which isn’t as bad as it sounds!!

100DaysOfCloud Overview

My Main ReadMe Page is all set up with a bit about me!

The guys at 100DaysofCloud have set up the GitHub repo to be cloned and also have a great repo containing ideas and areas to collaborate on: https://github.com/100DaysOfCloud/100DaysOfCloudIdeas

My Github Journey tracker can be found here: https://github.com/jonnychipz/100DaysOfCloud

Please Watch/Star my repo and feel free to comment of contribute to anything I push! I really look forward to hearing from anyone who is going to jump on the journey around the same time as me! Lets see where I get to in 100 days!

I would encourage others to jump on this journey, I’m not sure that I will be able to commit every day for 100 days, but as long as I can complete 100 days that will be great!
