Again, it seems that days and weeks are whizzing by in a flash! Which is good and bad at the same time!
Work is keeping me exceptionally busy at the moment with new customer projects and opportunities flying around like nobodies business!
So, I’m still studying for my AZ-204 behind the scenes so to speak, and getting to grips with that Dev mindset a bit more than I have needed to as of late. Really enjoying the learnings, but am keeping close to the fact that I want to get back to my Terraform learnings…… I am comfortable with the basics, and have started to break down the scripts into modular files. I need to work with a Vault and I want to do a few more funky things with CI/CD pipeline deployments. I am getting the chance to do this in work, but I really am looking for that bit of time to really learn as much as I can about the capabilities of Terraform etc.
As I mentioned my AZ-204 studies are going well, I’m using my study guide and MS Learn modules, just reviewing the elements I’ve written about or already worked through. Also, learning a bit more about Azure Functions and other serverless concepts.
I also cannot wait to really get started on my IoT Journey! I have my Raspberry Pi, my box of electronics bits and have now ordered a 3D printer!!! Whoop!! But in all seriousness, I’m really looking forward to aiming for the AZ220 Azure IoT exam, so please reach out if you are at the same stage as me!
I have been honoured to have been asked by a few other groups to come and give a talk at their sessions, and have recently appeared with the Azurish Live team as well as DevOps Notts to talk about CAF and Enterprise Scale.
Later this month I’m on with the Northern Azure User Group to talk about my 100DaysofCloud Challenge, then in December I’m privileged to be joining MSHowto Live to talk Enterprise Scale Landing Zones!
If someone had told me a few months back that this is what I would be up to I wouldn’t have believed you!!! But its all great fun!
So just a short post form me today, mainly because I think I am now at the physical capacity limit of being able to do any more studying/learning/blogging/videoing in one 24 hour period! Plus my son is waiting to Live Stream his gaming so is trying to kick me off the computer!
My Main ReadMe Page is all set up with a bit about me!
The guys at 100DaysofCloud have set up the GitHub repo to be cloned and also have a great repo containing ideas and areas to collaborate on: https://github.com/100DaysOfCloud/100DaysOfCloudIdeas
My Github Journey tracker can be found here: https://github.com/jonnychipz/100DaysOfCloud
Please Watch/Star my repo and feel free to comment of contribute to anything I push! I really look forward to hearing from anyone who is going to jump on the journey around the same time as me! Lets see where I get to in 100 days!
I would encourage others to jump on this journey, I’m not sure that I will be able to commit every day for 100 days, but as long as I can complete 100 days that will be great!
