A nice short post today, really happy to tick off the AZ-104 Exam which gives me my updated Azure Administrator Associate Badge. For some reason I have never looked at sitting the exam, so felt that I would use the 100DaysOfCloud Challenge to revise and review my core understanding and knowledge around Azure Admin, of which I am pleased to say did really give me a lot of new information since the last time I sat down and worked through the learning content etc. So I really advise refreshing your knowledge in this way!
The exam was a little trickier than I was expecting to be honest. As you would expect with it being an Admin Associate badge the devil is very much in the detail of the questions. I have liked the newer format of exams in recent times, but this allows for very intricate questioning to prove that the subject matter isn’t just known at a high level, but that you have really rolled up your sleeves and got to grips with all the topics and features covered.
Obviously as features change in Azure, its very important to renew and update your knowledge to make sure you stay on top of the subject areas (yes even if you have been doing it for years!!)
So really please to tick this one off the list. I think AZ-400 may be my next target to add to my collection!
My Main ReadMe Page is all set up with a bit about me!
The guys at 100DaysofCloud have set up the GitHub repo to be cloned and also have a great repo containing ideas and areas to collaborate on: https://github.com/100DaysOfCloud/100DaysOfCloudIdeas
My Github Journey tracker can be found here: https://github.com/jonnychipz/100DaysOfCloud
Please Watch/Star my repo and feel free to comment of contribute to anything I push! I really look forward to hearing from anyone who is going to jump on the journey around the same time as me! Lets see where I get to in 100 days!
I would encourage others to jump on this journey, I’m not sure that I will be able to commit every day for 100 days, but as long as I can complete 100 days that will be great!
